ABOUT ME:
Ok so what do you want to know? I am 42 years old and I was born on 23rd March 1966 at Sorrento Hospital, Birmingham. I am the youngest of six children! My sisters are Yvonne, Cathy, Janet, Julie and my brother is Bill. I first lived at Dolman Street (see photo's here!) in Vauxhall, Nechells, Birmingham then moved to Shard End in 1971. I have moved back there on and off and to Stechford, Birmingham to where I now live in Kitts Green, Birmingham. My star sign is Aries. My favourite food is Italian and my favourite drink is (apart from a good cup of tea!) Malibu and Pineapple. My favourite colour is Blue and my favourite number is 6. don't ask me why, it just always appealed to me hence my CB Handle in 1982 - Blue 6! I am 5 foot 7 and not as thin as I would like but I'm not massive either!
I am a single parent of a boy, Frank Jnr (20) and a girl, Debbie (17) who have lived on their own with me since 1994!
I like being helpful and providing information to people. If they find use from what I tell them then I feel like I have achieved something. This is why I Have created this site for after all! I have two pets, a Cat named Holly and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Rocky. I am suffering from anxiety and depression and it is hard going. I have found a lot of people in the past have tended to distant themselves from me because of it and that is there choice. I don't play on it, it is there, it is a medical condition. I hope to get off the medication sooner rather than later. I won't kid myself and think it will go away forever but at least I can learn to understand it better! I am not working because of that but I hope to one day in the not to distant future because I get so borreeedddd!
I am learning to appreciate myself and to be more positive. Also I am working on improving my inner peace and helping other's to try and find there's! You can see what I mean by going to my Facebook fan page entitled "Give Peace A Chance". I am reading all I can about Buddha, meditation and anything else that takes the stress of life away! I hope you join my fan page and spread some peace around yourself!

School:
I
went to my Infants and Juniors school,
Hillstone, Hillstone Road,
Shard End,
Birmingham, from the years 1971 to 1977. I can't remember many
teachers but what of those I do are Miss McGraph, what a brilliant teacher
she was. I think she was my teacher in reception? What did she teach? Mr
Dance the head, he was the loveliest man you could ever meet. I don't
think he taught anything? He made a very shy lad's time at school
bearable! Collis, (I best not swear so I will just say I hate him with a
vengeance) made my life hell in Maths and all through Hillstone. Mr Smith
(I think that was his name), came from Yorkshire, another top bloke. What
did he teach? I only really had one good friend and that was Phil Timms
but I was also pally with Lee Markland. I can't remember any one
else. All in all though I had a nice time at
Hillstone.
I went to my secondary school, Byng Kendrick Central, Gressel Lane,
Tile Cross,
Birmingham (now known as The International School and
Community College, East
Birmingham), from the years 1977 to 1982. Again my
memory is not the best but I remember being in (I think) classes 1W, 2D,
3D, 4S and 5S. Teachers I remember and what they taught: Mr Berry,
English (Tip Top Geezer, helped me a lot), Miss Jones, English ( I didn't
like her and she didn't like me much either), Mr Moore (The Head),
Classical Studies (yawwwnnnnn!), Mr Wick, Art (ok), Miss Clarke, RE (ok),
Mr Sanderland, Music (great teacher), Mr Rudd, PE (so so), Mr Bland, PE
(so so), Miss Bates, Maths (hard but fair, got the best out of me), Miss
Brown, Maths (nice but too soft), Miss Bates, Spanish (lovely teacher, I
learned a lot from her), Mr Marcetic, Spanish (great man but soft) and Mr
Constable, Metalwork (didn't like him or the lesson). Teachers I remember
but what did they teach?: Mr Mann, ? (ok), Mr Sant, ? (good teacher) and
Mr Hutton, ? (the so so man with eyes in the back of his head, literally!)
Mr Roberts (Deputy Head), ? (yuk!). Questions: Who was the mighty fine
lady who taught Human Biology? Who was the friendly Woodwork teacher who
worked next door to Mr Constable? and who was the other so so Music
teacher who helped Mr Sanderland in the school concerts? My Good friends
then were Phil Timms, Mark White and Christopher Eaton. It
wasn't until I really started playing footy in the playground, with the
last two, in year three that I really mixed with people. I've always
been a loner but I have them two to thank for getting me out my shell a
bit. I don't see anyone from them but I have tried
but people change. I like to think I haven't. If you think you may of known me
growing up or when I left school please get in touch.
Take a look at Friends Reunited, it is an excellent website for
people trying to find out what old friends or pupils are doing now.
Another thing to mention is it is now FREE! I joined to find out who it as got on its list for the years 1977 and
1982. I was amazed to see how many names it came up with! Slowly it
is adding more but I forgot a lot of them. I
for one couldn't wait to leave school for good. I ran out the gates
in June 1982! It is said that the school years are the best years of your
life, how true that is.
That's about it I guess in a short summary! Click all the links on this page for more information about certain people, places etc.
