Centro is the corporate name of the West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive. It is responsible for promoting and developing public transport across the West Midlands metropolitan area.

Within the West Midlands the Traveline facility is provided by a single call centre, operated under contract to West Midlands Transport Information Services Ltd. WMTIS is a joint company with shareholders representing all local bus operators, WMPTE (Centro) and Shire County Authorities.

The call centre can provide details of all bus services registered within the West Midlands region, which includes the West Midlands County, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Warwickshire & Worcestershire. The call centre also holds certain information on public transport links to other areas of the country, details of local rail services and selected coach services.
